MassTaxConnect is the Department of Revenue's secure Web-based application that allows business taxpayers to register, file and/or pay certain tax obligations online. The latest version of the application includes many new features designed to provide certain businesses with more options to access and maintain their tax obligations.
- Taxpayers can send and receive secure e-messages with attachments - It will be easier for taxpayers to quickly and safely talk with the DOR.
- View and print DOR letters and notices - Taxpayers will be able to view all DOR letters and notices right on their account.
- Business tax types in one place - Almost all business tax types will be part of MassTaxConnect by the end of the year. It will be one-stop electronic filing and paying.
- Assign third party access electronically - Taxpayers will be able to assign access to an enrolled agent or other taxpayer electronically. They can assign, approve, and give access through a secure and streamlined platform.
- Amend filed returns electronically - Filing an amended return will be just as simple as filing the original return.
- Opt in or out of paper correspondence.
